One of the organizers of the "Tea Party" at Duluth's Harbor last spring is throwing another event for like-minded people.

I just received an invite on Facebook from Bob Hansen. The event is titled "Freedom & Liberty Picnic: Silent Majority No More".

According to the invitation, the event is to "spark a fire of freedom and liberty for the future of this great Country." The group is concerned about the "dismissive posturing of our elected representatives and, most of all, those of us who believe in our Constitution and the American Dream."

The picnic/rally takes place on August 24 from 4-8 pm at Skyline Lanes in Hermantown.
