They had hoped to do another paracentesis today, and place another tube into Gary’s abdomen so we could drain fluid instead of coming into the hospital every few days. UPDATE:  Just an FYI, Gary started a treatment today.  They gave him a liter of fluids, and a b vitamin drip called leucovorin.  That is used to help the 5-FU chemo drug.  He got to the appointment at 10:30 for labs, saw Dr. Ketchum just before noon and finished the fluids at 2pm.  They hooked [...]

Sue’s been telling me I need to update the blog. I’ve started a couple times, but they didn’t get past the draft stage. I’ve been going in for infusions of fluids three times a week.

I know Gary is working on a blog entry, but he is having trouble finding the energy and focusing.  (Gary – feel free to edit this one okay?)  It has been so long since we have updated everyone on his condition and treatment, I thought I would jot down a couple of things.
